The Commonwealth Bank and ANZ have been recognized among the most valuable brands in the world in terms of regional banking, according to a recent study by BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands.
CBA was ranked 5th in the most valuable brand for regional banking, up from ranking 7th last year. It also made the biggest climb in the top 10, garnering an impressive 18% increase to $21 billion. ANZ also made it to the top 10 with $19 billion in brand value. Wells Fargo was recognized as the top regional brand with a $54 billion value, holding on to the number 1 spot for the 2nd straight year.
